If there is any dishes, take them all to the kitchen. If you have clothes laying in the floor, gather all of those up and load up your washing machine. Look around and take anything and everything that doesn't belong in there to where ever its supposed to go. Put things laying around that are supposed to be in there where they belong. Dust.
