Corporation Being Sued...?

Branden Round: You can sue anybody and it is common to include owners of a small corporation on the theory that the corporation is your alter ego. Your individual response would be that you are not personally responsible. The plaintiff has to prove otherwise. You will need an attorney in California to handle the case.

Lon Pennington: They can certainly sue you individually. Whether they can make ! a case against you is another question. All of you and the corporation need to answer the complaint and you all need to be represented by counsel. Depending on the circumstances, it may not be ethical for one attorney to represent all of you.
