Fritz Hawkey: the laws are very liberal..the marriage lisence office opens early and doesnt close until midnight...i reccommend if you are going to do a package through a large hotel to reserve 3-5 months in advance. for the smaller chapels, 1 month in advance is usally enough. there is no blood test required..go to vegas.com and click on their link for wedding info and a list of the chapels. some of the casino weddings are expensive, but Paris had a grat package that included your room for a reasonable price....Show more
Donella Vasta: When someone says "Las Vegas Wedding" everyone automatically thinks 'tacky little wedding chapels being married by a bad Elvis impersonator'. I'm sure there are plenty of facilities in Vegas to hold an elegant wedding....(there are normal people that live and work there) and there wouldn't be a lack of activities to do after the wedding for you or your guests. It would be a great idea.

It also lets you search reception venues with fixed price menus by cost and cuisine.Personal recommendations: we chose the Bellagio Terrace overlooking the lake for our own wedding (the fountains play for you at the end of the cermeony) and it was wonderful. Other chapels which really stood out for me were Little Chapel of the Flowers, Graceland Wedding Chapel and Little Church of the West.
